How you can help support our community band
The Second-Wind Ensemble Incorporated is a community-based concert band dedicated to enriching Adelaide's vibrant cultural scene through music. As a registered Not-for-Profit organisation involved in the advancement of culture, specifically in the area of music performance in the community, we provide a welcoming space for adults interested in playing music to connect, perform, and share their love of music with the community.
We are delighted to have been endorsed by the ATO as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). This means that all donations over $2 made to our instrument gift fund are tax-deductible.
Why Your Donation Matters
We have established a gift fund specifically to purchase new musical instruments for band ownership. Your generosity will have a direct impact by helping us:
Welcome New Members
Owning a diverse range of instruments allows us to attract new players who may find the cost of purchasing their own instrument to be a barrier. This includes students, recent migrants, and visitors on short-term stays in Adelaide.
Expand Our Repertoire
A wider selection of instruments enables us to perform more complex and varied pieces, enriching our concerts for both our members and our audiences.
Enhance Our Performances
With high-quality instruments, we can elevate the sound and quality of our performances, ensuring a more professional and engaging experience for everyone.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help us hit the right note. Your support is instrumental in helping us continue to advance culture and bring the joy of music to our community.
Thank you for your support.
