OUR 2025 PERFORMANCE YEAR HAS OPENED!
"The Summer of Love - Woodstock and Beyond"
Our first performance of the year was a resounding success, with tickets sold out 2 weeks before the event and fantastic audience response to the original script and the powerful voice of Mark Oates.

THE SUMMER OF LOVE
You have another chance to get in the groove with Second-Wind!
We're repeating our groovy trip back to a time of peace, music, and cultural revolution - a period within living memory (for some of us!) that left an indelible mark on our culture. The performance will feature renowned South Australian singer/actor Mark Oates in an original musical tale crafted by the band's talented Music Director Josie Hawkes, OAM, inspired by the legendary summer of Woodstock in 1969.

FROM A PAST PERFORMANCE...
On 8th October 2022, the Second-Wind Ensemble was invited to perform in the Mitcham Band Festival. This was our first public performance with our newly appointed Music Director, Josie Hawkes OAM. Our playlist included a couple of challenging lively pieces, including our finale, "Earth, Wind and Fire Dance Mix" and you can tell that the band had a blast!
